Lions vs Bears Prediction

The current betting odds have the Bears listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Bears have looked good in their games this season with their 11-5 record overall which has them right at the top of the NFC North. They have looked great on their home field too with their 6-1 home record this season. Meanwhile, the Lions have looked good in their games this season with their 8-8 record overall, but that record has them right at the bottom of the NFC North in a competitive division. They haven't been a great road team though with their 3-5 road record this year. The Lions haven't looked good lately either, losing back-to-back games for the first time in over a year, and they have completely fallen apart in their final games of the season. They have lost 3 games in a row now and they are off a 23-10 loss to the Vikings in their last one which eliminated them from the playoffs. Now they don't have anything to play for here, other than finishing the season with a winning record, and they can't even play spoiler either. The Bears have already locked up the NFC North so this game doesn't really mean anything to them, and they are off a 42-38 loss to the 49ers in their last one which kept them from getting the number 1 seed in the NFC. Even though they don't have much to play for here, they will be looking to bounce back with a win going into the playoffs, and this game still means a lot to their head coach Ben Johnson. The Lions crushed the Bears at the start of the season too, so this is a good opportunity for the Bears to do the same now that the teams are in different places from where they started. The best way to place a bet here is on the Bears to cover the spread in this game.

Lions Bears Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, January 4, 2026 (4:25 pm ET start time) is Bears 34 Lions 20.
