Colorado vs Oregon State Prediction

The current betting odds have Colorado listed as a 23.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Colorado has had a terrible program over the last few years and they got off to another terrible 0-5 start this season. They recently fired their head coach though and already the team has responded with a win in their previous game. They were playing another team in Cal that isn't that great but that was a big win for them, coming in the conference too, and they will be carrying over that confidence into this game. Oregon State has a very good team and they are extremely hard to beat when they are at home, but they haven't been blowing out many teams this year and they are still missing their starting QB for this game. Colorado isn't going to win this game but with the injuries to the Oregon State offense and the way they play a very good defensive game, this could be a lower scoring game where Oregon State uses their defense to win and doesn't need to put up a lot of points here. Colorado also has the fight back in them after that win last week so they are not going to roll over in this game under their interim coach. The best way to place a bet here is on Colorado to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"So Deion is up and walking and, I think he was emotional because he didn't have a chance to celebrate on the field with his teammates. But he was a huge part of that victory, both in his play and more importantly, just how much this team loves him and showed their support for him." - Mike Sanford on the injury to Deion Smith in his team’s win against Cal in their last game.

“We wanted to action pass and take some shots down the field. But we struggled to protect (Gulbranson). So, we did way less of that.” - Jonathan Smith on how he has changed his team’s game plan with the backup QB playing.
