Colorado vs Air Force Prediction

The current betting odds have Air Force listed as a 17.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Colorado is playing this game on the road and they already failed to cover a similar spread last week when they were at home. They looked terrible against TCU on offense, they were so lost at quarterback that they had to pull Shrout because of his poor performance, and the team had no running game at all either. Air Force opened their season with a win over a team from the FCS but they looked really good in that game. Their defense played great and their offense was able to move the ball very well. Normally, Air Force is a heavy running team and that stayed true last week as their QB only threw 6 passes, but those decisions that he made were very good as he still racked up over 100 yards passing to go along with that great run game. Colorado is in disarray right now as their offense is a complete mess, and even their own players are getting frustrated over the fact that they are giving up on games before they are even out of it. Air Force has a good offense that will tear up this bad Colorado defense on the road here and Air Force's defense will take care of the rest here. The best way to place a bet here is on AFA to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“I think the part that disappointed me the most was in (third) quarter, when we were down 13-6, 14-6, and then especially once it was 17-6, I just saw way too many heads drop. I saw way too much defeat, when we were still very, very much part of the game.” - Brady Russell on his team in the 3rd quarter of their loss against TCU.

“There’s just so much mutual respect. You think about our flagship university in our state being an AAU school (in a) phenomenal town. The commitment they’ve made in terms of the athletic department, especially to football, that makes you proud to live in this state for their dedication, it really does. And then you bring in the history; I think in the last 40 years, there’s only been about six, seven schools that have played for back-to-back national championships and Colorado is one of them. That’s pretty awesome… If my son or daughter went to school there, I’d be proud.” - Troy Calhoun on this upcoming game against Air Force Academy.
