A national League matchup between the NL Central worst and the NL West’s middle.  These teams are not terribly close… but the Giants have some issues.  The Reds are only issues… who will play?... Take the Reds already.  The Giants have disrespected this matchup by starting Alex Cobb against a young hot rookie.  Alex is falling apart and would need a big game to match the pitch speed and control of the kid.  He won’t.  The Reds will score early… Cob will get yanked… The bullpens will duel to protect or make up that score.  The Giants will fall short.  Alex Cobb goes by the nickname “Swan”... and this season may be his swansong.
