Bengals vs Browns Prediction

The current betting odds have the Browns listed as a 2.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Browns finished last season with a 7-10 record overall but they were also hindered by their new QB's suspension which didn't allow him to play until more than half of the season had gone by. Now Watson is going to be with the team from week 1 and he will be playing with a chip on his shoulder after the things he has endured over the last year. He has a lot to prove with his contract too and the Browns offense still has a lot of talent along with a really good defense that will always keep them in games. They get to open up the season at home in a division game against the Bengals who were really good last season with their 12-4 record overall, but they are also catching a break here since Burrow was injured before the season started and he may not be available for this game. It will be a huge blow to the Bengals offense if Burrow doesn't play in this game and even if he does play, he might not be at 100%. Even with a fully healthy Joe Burrow, this is still going to be a really tough game for the Bengals to win on the road with the Browns having a point to prove this season with their high paid QB so the value is still with the Browns as a home underdog in this season opener. The best way to place a bet here is on the Browns to cover the spread in this game.
