Bengals vs Panthers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Panthers listed as a 4.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Panthers haven't looked good in their games this season with their 1-2 record overall, but they looked a lot better last week, getting their 1st win of the season. Meanwhile, the Bengals have looked terrible in their games this season with their 0-3 record overall, coming off another loss on Monday night. They haven't been impressive in their losses either, losing to weaker teams like the Patriots and the Commanders. Now they are in a tougher spot here with a shorter week from the Monday night game, and this will be a big game for Andy Dalton and the Panthers at home. Dalton revived his career last week with a great performance on the road against the Raiders, putting up 36 points in this offense that struggled in their first 2 games, and now he will be back at home against his former team, a game he is going to bring his best effort for. The Bengals just haven't looked right in their games this season and the Panthers are going to have a ton of momentum from that win last week. The Bengals may get their 1st win of the season here, but the Panthers showed some offense last week and they will be able to put up points on this Bengals defense so expect them to keep it close if they don't pull off the upset win. The best way to place a bet here is on the Panthers to cover the spread in this game.

Bengals Panthers Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 29, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Panthers 31 Bengals 28.
