Bears vs Bengals Prediction
The current betting odds have the Bears listed as a 2.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Bears have looked good in their games this season with their 4-3 record overall, but that record has them right near the bottom of the NFC North in a competitive division. They really turned things around after their 0-2 start, winning 4 games in a row after that, but now they are off a 30-16 loss to the Ravens in their last one. They lost that game with Lamar Jackson still being out for the Ravens, but the Ravens still have a ton of talent in other areas as they were a Super Bowl contender coming into the season and the Bears will be looking to bounce back after such a thorough beating. Meanwhile, the Bengals haven't looked great in their games this season with their 3-5 record overall which has them right near the top of the AFC North. They are in a weaker division so they are still in the division race and Joe Flacco has given this offense some life. They pulled off a big upset win over the Steelers and that win gave them a lot of hope to still be a potential playoff team this year, but all of that went down the drain in their last one. They are off a 39-38 loss to the Jets in their last one, losing at home to the only team who was still winless coming into the week. They also gave up a ton of points to the worst offense in the NFL, and that Bengals defense has been one of the worst in the NFL going back to last season. This Bengals offense has looked a lot better with Flacco, but that defense is still going to hold them back and even though the Bears just lost to a depleted Ravens team, they have still been making some big strides on both sides of the ball lately. The best way to place a bet here is on the Bears to cover the spread in this game.
