Charlotte vs Georgia Prediction

The current betting odds have Georgia listed as a 44.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Georgia has looked really good in their games this season with their 9-1 record overall and their 7-1 conference record which has them right near the top of the SEC. They are currently ranked inside the top 5 and they have a chance at the SEC Championship with their conference schedule now done for the season. Meanwhile, Charlotte has looked terrible in their games this season with their 1-9 record overall and their 0-7 conference record which has them right at the bottom of the American Conference. They are off a 28-7 loss at home to UTSA in their last one and they have been a disaster with Albin in his 1st year coaching. They were already a disaster before Albin even got there, but he hasn't been able to do much to help them improve this season. They have a terrible defense that has been giving up a ton of points to weaker offenses so they aren't going to be able to keep Georgia off the board here. They also have a terrible offense that hasn't been putting up many points, and this Georgia defense has only gotten better as the season has gone on. Georgia didn't look great to start the SEC schedule, but they found ways to win games and now they are starting to look like the National Championship contender they are supposed to be, coming off a 35-10 win over Texas in their last one. The best way to place a bet here is on Georgia to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“I think there have been some things done offensively. We’ve moved Javen Nicholas around quite a bit. I’ll call you on that (lack of creativity) comment. There are some wrinkles, but we don’t hit them,” Albin said. “From a coaching standpoint, the creativity stuff is there. We’re just so limited in the run game. These last two weeks, we’re trying to move the ball through the air — but we’re just not built for that right now.” - Tim Albin after his team’s loss against UTSA in their last game.

“It’s the approach we take. We’re going to dominate and try to win the fourth quarter.” - Kirby Smart after his team’s win against Texas in their last game.
