Panthers vs Buccaneers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Buccaneers listed as a 5.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Buccaneers haven't looked great in their games this season with their 4-7 record overall and they are only 2-3 in their home games too. They lost another game to the Colts last week and even though their offense has looked a lot better lately, now Baker Mayfield is dealing with another injury and it was very apparent last week when he tried to play through it. Meanwhile, the Panthers have been terrible all season with their 1-10 record overall and they now have the worst record in the NFL. They are 0-6 in their road games this season and just fired their head coach after last week's loss. The Panthers also have one of the worst rosters in the NFL from a talent standpoint so it is no surprise that the team that drafted number 1 overall has the worst record in the league. The Bucs haven't looked great lately but this is a great situation for them to get a much needed win at home and they have a lot more talent than the Panthers do on both offense and defense. The best way to place a bet here is on the Buccaneers to cover the spread in this game.

Panthers Buccaneers Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 3, 2023 (4:05 pm ET start time) is Buccaneers 27 Panthers 13.

Notable Quotes

“You think somebody’s gonna magically fix everything? No. We lost a close football game today. These games are winnable. That message doesn’t fly when you’re 1-10 but I know these games are winnable, I know we have the players and the coaches to do that so we regroup and get ready for this week.” - Frank Reich after his team’s loss against the Titans in their last game.

“It's just not finishing at the end. It's not like we're going out there doing our thing and getting demolished by any teams. I think that's the hardest thing is that we're in every game and we're making plays, but we've got to kind of limit some other things so we can get over the top and win those games.” - Devin White after their loss against the Colts in their last game.
