Panthers vs Giants Prediction

The current betting odds have the Giants listed as a 2 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Giants won their first game under head coach Brian Daboll but they did not play great in that game. Daniel Jones was very accurate but didn't play great and that game was pretty much won by Saquon Barkley and the head coach himself with good play calling. The Panthers lost a heartbreaker to the Browns on a last second field goal which lost the game for Baker Mayfield against his old team, but Mayfield didn't have a great game either and didn't really pick up until the 4th quarter. Now the Giants are back at home for their home opener and they have a very good running game which will take the pressure off of Jones to be good as he will not be able to win games himself. The Panthers didn't get anything going on the ground with McCaffery as he only rushed for 33 yards and this is a game that is going to be won in the trenches. The Giants have the better run game here and the better coaching at the moment, they are going to win their home opener. The best way to place a bet here is on the Giants to cover the spread in this game.
