Panthers vs Bears Prediction

The current betting odds have the Bears listed as a 3.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Bears haven't looked great this season with their 2-7 record overall and they have lost 2 games in a row now that they are dealing with an injury to Justin Fields keeping him out. Tyson Bagent hasn't looked terrible in his starts though and even in their loss to the Saints last week, they still kept the game within a TD. The last 2 weeks were tough for Bagent playing on the road in only his 2nd and 3rd ever start in the NFL but now he will be back at home for this game where he did get his only win as a starter a few weeks ago. The Panthers haven't looked any better this season either as they are 1-7 overall and unlike the Bears lately, the Panthers have been getting blown out in a lot of their losses like their loss to the Colts last week at home. The Panthers have one of the worst rosters in the NFL this year and Bryce Young hasn't looked up to speed running the offense either. As bad as the Bears have been this year, they are still a lot better than the Panthers and Bagent will guide them to his 2nd career win at home. The best way to place a bet here is on the Bears to cover the spread in this game.

Panthers Bears Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Thursday, November 9, 2023 (8:15 pm ET start time) is Bears 21 Panthers 13.

Notable Quotes

“I've seen this happen to the best quarterbacks in the history of the game. They all have games like this. Sure it's going to be easy to put it on the quarterback, but you bounce back. That is what makes the great ones. But developing into the franchise quarterback, it's a long road." - Frank Reich after his team’s loss against the Colts in their last game.

“It really just comes all down to myself in that last quarter being able to do a better job taking care of the ball. We talk about it every day, and it was basically just me. Good on their part and bad on my part.” - Tyson Bagent after their loss against the Saints in their last game.
