BYU vs Colorado State Prediction

The current betting odds have BYU listed as a 17.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. BYU has looked great in their games this season with their 2-0 record overall so far. They haven't played any road games yet this season and will be playing their 1st road game of the year here. Meanwhile, Colorado State has looked good in their games this season with their 2-0 record overall so far. They have looked good on their home field too with their 2-0 home record this season. Colorado State is in a new era with Jim Mora coaching the team now and this is also the 1st season that they are going to be in the Pac-12. They are coming off a 58-24 win over Southern Utah in their last one, but they weren't really challenged in that game and their defense still gave up a ton of points. They beat up on Wyoming in week 1 too, winning 35-13, but this is easily going to be the strongest team they face all year. BYU is currently ranked inside the top 25 and they have been one of the best teams in the Big 12 over the last few years. They haven't made a playoff appearance yet, but they were in the Big 12 Championship last year and look like they are going to be even better this season. They destroyed Utah Tech 63-7 in their season opener and now they are coming off a 28-17 win over Arizona in their last one, getting challenged by a conference opponent. The defense has a lot of talent that isn't going to give up many points all season, so Colorado State is going to have a lot more trouble moving the ball here. Colorado State doesn't have a ton of talent on defense either and they are going to give up points to this BYU offense that is much improved from last season. The best way to place a bet here is on BYU to cover the spread in this game.

BYU Colorado State Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, September 19, 2026 (7:30 pm ET start time) is BYU 38 Colorado State 17.
