Buffalo vs Wisconsin Prediction

The current betting odds have Buffalo listed as a 27.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Buffalo finished last season with a 7-6 record overall as they won their bowl game at the end of the season and they were also pretty good in their conference games with a 5-3 record in those. Wisconsin had a similar season as they also finished with a 7-6 record overall but they were 4-5 in their conference games since they struggled more against Big Ten opponents. They don't have a Big Ten opponent here as they are facing a much weaker team from a weaker conference and Wisconsin is supposed to be an improved team this year too. Wisconsin is in the middle of transitioning their offense though from what was a really run heavy offense to now what will be a really pass heavy offense. Wisconsin does have a lot more talent on their team than Buffalo but they are still changing a lot of things with their offense and they are not just going to put everything together for this 1st game here. Buffalo still has a really good team that is going to fight to keep this 1st game of the season close, especially since Wisconsin is making such a big change to their style of play for this season. The best way to place a bet here is on Buffalo to cover the spread in this game.

Buffalo Wisconsin Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, September 2, 2023 (3:30 pm ET start time) is Wisconsin 34 Buffalo 21.
