Buffalo vs Coastal Carolina Prediction

The current betting odds have CCU listed as a 17.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. CCU really struggled to beat Gardner-Webb in their last game, a team from the FCS, but they did look good in their game against Army and they play well when they are on their home field here. McCall returned to the school for another year and he will only get better in this offense as the season goes on. Buffalo has already started their season 0-2 with a blowout loss against Maryland and losing at home to the FCS team Holy Cross in their last game. That was a very bad game for them and just about shows where their program is at right now. CCU had a ranked team for most of the season last year and that offense was led by Grayson McCall who is excited to play another year on this team. He will lead his team to a win here at home and this should be their first big blowout of the year by 20+ points with how bad this Buffalo team has been and now on the road here. The best way to place a bet here is on CCU to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“Ultimately, with four seconds left, you’d like to see us execute in that moment in a situation that we work on, that we end every practice on Friday with that very last situation. We didn’t get the ball knocked down. But you look at the sequence of points throughout the entire course of the game, it's our lack of execution in critical moments.” - Maurice Linguist after his team’s loss against Holy Cross in their last game.

"It’s really cool. Obviously to get some more attention and notoriety for myself, but more importantly Coastal Carolina’s football program and a chance for myself to put my teammates’ names out there and get them some notoriety.” - Grayson McCall on the Heisman Trophy being at their season opener against Army.
