Bills vs Jets Prediction

The current betting odds have the Bills listed as a 2.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Bills finished last season with a 13-3 record overall and fell short once again in the playoffs but the hunger to win is still there for this team. They still have a great offense and a great defense with tons of weapons and they are going to be looking to start their season with a big division win in prime time here. The Jets were only 7-10 last season but improved a lot and now they have upgraded their QB along with some other weapons on the offense. This is still going to be the 1st game with Aaron Rodgers in this new system with new receivers to throw to and he struggled a lot to find chemistry with new receivers last season for the Packers. The Bills are still the team to beat in this division and adding Rodgers to this Jets offense doesn't instantly make them a contender in the 1st season. The Bills will have their own point to prove here and will be playing the season with a chip on their shoulder as they are being disrespected right out of the gate. The best way to place a bet here is on the Bills to cover the spread in this game.

Bills Jets Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 10, 2023 (8:15 pm ET start time) is Bills 31 Jets 20.

Notable Quotes

“I love it, honestly. It feels good to be back with the guys. As a head coach, we coach but we don’t coach. A lot of the time is spent on things outside of coaching. It feels really good to be back in the weeds.” - Sean McDermott on getting back into play calling this season.

"X has shown a dynamic ability in the return game. He's a really good football player, he has great feel for space. In the pass game he has a long way to go, he's going to get better. The way he works and his mindset, you could tell he's going to be a really good football player in this league." - Robert Saleh on Xavier Gipson making the 53-man roster.
