Celtics vs Magic Prediction

The current betting odds have the Celtics listed as a 6.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. This is game 4 of a 7 game series between the 2nd seeded Celtics and the 7th seeded Magic from the Eastern Conference for the 1st round of the NBA playoffs. The Celtics are leading this series 2-1 after the Magic won game 3 at home. The Magic made it a 2-1 series with a 95-93 win over the Celtics in the 3rd game and their defense came to play in that one. They avoided going into a 3-0 hole with a great defensive performance and it is no surprise from one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. Even in their win though, the Magic only scored 95 points and that has been a big problem for them all season as they lack the talent when it comes to shooting. The Celtics were also without Holiday in that one so that had a big impact on the game, but the Celtics are going to be looking to bounce back. Holiday could be back for this game and that would be a huge boost to this lineup, but even if he doesn't come back, the Celtics have a game under their belt without him and they will be able to adjust with the talent they have on the bench. The Magic played really well at home to get that gritty win, but their inability to shoot is going to come back to bite them in this series. The Celtics are only going to be more motivated to bounce back too so they are going to come out strong in this one. The best way to place a bet here is on the Celtics to cover the spread in this game.
