Celtics vs Magic Prediction

The current betting odds have the Celtics listed as a 5.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. This is game 3 of a 7 game series between the 2nd seeded Celtics and the 7th seeded Magic from the Eastern Conference for the 1st round of the NBA playoffs. The Celtics are leading this series 2-0 after winning game 2 at home. The Celtics took the 2nd game of this series with a 109-100 win over the Magic and they did it without their best player. They were missing Tatum in that one, but it didn't matter much since the Celtics have a lot of talent to fill that hole. Now this series is going back to Orlando where the Magic have been a lot better this season, going 22-19 on their home court, but the Celtics have been an even better road team this year than they have been at home, going 33-8 in road games this year. Tatum could also be back in this game and that will be a huge boost for the defending champions as the Magic won't have much of a chance in this game against a healthy Celtics team. The Magic have one of the best defenses in the NBA this year, but they aren't a good team when it comes to shooting and it has shown in both games of this series as they haven't been putting up a ton of points. Even if Tatum sits out again, the Celtics have the talent to stay in control this entire game and they have the potential to sweep the Magic in this series. The best way to place a bet here is on the Celtics to cover the spread in this game.

Celtics Magic Prediction:  Our NBA Pick for Friday, April 25, 2025 (7:00 pm ET start time) is Celtics 113 Magic 103.
