The Thursday sports card features NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NHL, and NCAAB action.

Week 9 of the NFL regular season kicks off with the Chicago Bears hosting the Carolina Panthers on Amazon Prime at 8:15 PM ET. The Bears lost for the third time in their last four games in a 24-17 loss to New Orleans as a 10-point  underdog on Sunday. The Panthers followed their first victory of the season two weeks ago with a 27-13 loss at home to Indianapolis as a 1.5-point underdog. Chicago is a 3-point favorite, with the total set at 38.5 (all odds from DraftKings). 

The 11th week in college football continues with two games on national television between FBS opponents at 7:30 PM ET. Louisiana-Lafayette plays at home against Southern Mississippi on ESPNU. The Ragin’ Cajuns lost for the second time in their last three games with their 37-17 upset loss at Arkansas State as a 6.5-point favorite on Saturday. The Golden Eagles ended their seven-game winning streak with a 24-7 victory against Louisiana-Monroe as a 2.5-point favorite on Saturday. Louisiana-Lafayette is a 10-point favorite with an over/under of 51. 

Louisville is at home against Virginia on ESPN. The Cardinals are on a two-game winning streak to raise their record to 8-1 with a 34-3 victory against Virginia Tech as a 9-point favorite last Saturday. The Cavaliers are on a two-game losing streak after their 45-17 upset loss to Georgia Tech as a 1-point favorite on Saturday. Louisville is a 21-point favorite with a total of 50.5. 

The National Basketball Association has two games on its docket. The Milwaukee Bucks travel to Indiana to play the Pacers at 7:10 PM ET as a 3.5-point road favorite with an over/under of 243.5. The Atlanta Hawks play in Orlando against the Magic at 9:40 PM ET as a 3-point road favorite with a total of 232.5. 

The National Hockey League has 11 games on its slate. Five NHL games drop the puck at 7:07 PM ET. The Detroit Red Wings are at home against the Montreal Canadiens as a -170 money-line favorite with an over/under of 6.5. The New York Rangers host the Minnesota Wild as a -130 money-line favorite with a total of 6. The Vancouver Canucks visit the Ottawa Senators as a -115 money-line road favorite with an over/under of 6.5. The Tampa Bay Lightning play at home against the Chicago Blackhawks as a -250 money-line favorite with a total of 6.5. The Boston Bruins are at home against the New York Islanders as a -162 money-line favorite with an over/under of 5.5. 

The Dallas Stars play in Columbus against the Blue Jackets at 7:37 PM ET as a -205 money-line road favorite with a total of 6.5. Two more NHL games start at 8:07 PM ET. The St. Louis Blues host the Arizona Coyotes as a -120 money-line favorite with an over/under of 6.5. The Winnipeg Jets play at home against the Nashville Predators as a -135 money-line favorite with a total of 6. 

The Colorado Avalanche are at home against the Seattle Kraken at 9:07 PM ET as a -230 money-line favorite with an over/under of 6.5. Two more games conclude the NHL card at 10:37 PM ET. The Los Angeles Kings host the Pittsburgh Penguins as a -125 money-line favorite with a total of 6.5. The Edmonton Oilers are in San Jose against the Sharks as a -325 money-line road favor with an over/under of 7.
