Big Al's Daily Angle: NBA, NHL, WNBA, MLB and UEFA Champions League Previews and Odds - 05/29/2021

The Saturday sports card features games in the NBA, NHL, MLB, WNBA, and the UEFA Champions League.

The NBA playoffs have four games on the docket. Milwaukee visits Miami on TNT at 1:35 PM ET. The Bucks took a 3-0 lead in this series with their 113-84 victory against the Heat as a 1.5-point road favorite on Thursday. Milwaukee is a 4.5-point road favorite with a total set at 221.5 (all odds from BetOnline). 

Portland hosts Denver on TNT at 4:05 PM ET. The Nuggets took a 2-1 series lead with their 120-115 upset win at Portland as a 4-point underdog on Thursday. The Trail Blazers are a 4-point favorite with an over/under of 226.5.

Philadelphia visits Washington on ESPN at 7:05 PM ET. The 76ers have a 2-0 series lead after defeating the Wizards, 120-95, as an 8.5-point favorite on Wednesday. Washington has lost five of their last eight games. Philadelphia is a 6-point road favorite with a total of 227. 

Utah travels to Memphis on ESPN at 9:35 PM ET. The Jazz evened this series at 1-1 with a 141-129 victory as a 10-point favorite on Wednesday. The Grizzlies had been on a three-game winning streak before the loss. Utah is a 5-point road favorite with an over/under of 224.

Two games are on the NHL playoff schedule. Toronto plays at Montreal on the NBC Sports Network at 7:38 PM ET. The Canadiens forced a sixth game in this series with their 4-3 victory on Thursday. Toronto is a -188 money line road favorite to clinch the series tonight, with the total set at 5.5.

Boston hosts the New York Islanders in the opening game of their seven-game East Division finals series. The Bruins defeated the Capitals in five games with their 3-1 victory at Washington on Sunday. The Islanders won the final three games in their series with the Penguins after a 5-3 victory against Pittsburgh in Game 6 on Wednesday. Boston is a -187 money line favorite with an over/under of 5.5 for Game 1.

Eighteen games are on the MLB slate. Colorado visits Pittsburgh at 12:05 PM in the first game of their seven-inning doubleheader. Tampa Bay plays at home against Philadelphia at 1:10 PM ET as a -110 money line favorite with a total of 7. Milwaukee travels to Washington at 2:05 PM ET in the first game of their seven-inning doubleheader. Baltimore plays at Chicago against the White Sox in the first game of their seven-inning doubleheader. Kansas City is in Minnesota. The Chicago Cubs play at home against Cincinnati at 2:20 PM ET as a -111 money line favorite. 

Colorado plays at Pittsburgh at 4:05 PM ET in the second game of their seven-inning doubleheader. Oakland hosts the Los Angeles Angels at 4:07 PM ET as a -144 money line favorite with an over/under of 8.5. Toronto travels to Cleveland at 4:10 PM ET as a -121 money line road favorite with a total of 9. Boston is at home against Miami as a -139 money line favorite with an over/under of 8. San Diego visits Houston as a -144 money line road favorite with a total of 8. The New York Yankees play at Detroit as a -136 money line road favorite with an over/under of 8.5. Baltimore plays at Chicago against the White Sox at 5:10 PM ET in the second game of their seven-inning doubleheader. 

Three games take place at 7:15 PM ET as part of the regional coverage on Fox. The Los Angeles Dodgers host San Francisco as a -193 money line favorite with a total of 7.5. Atlanta visits the New York Mets as a -154 money line road favorite with an over/under of 6.5. Milwaukee plays at Washington in the second game of their seven-inning doubleheader. 

Seattle plays at home against Texas at 10:10 PM ET as a -108 money line favorite with a total of 8.5. St. Louis visits Arizona as a -147 money line road favorite with an over/under of 10. 

Two games take place in the WNBA. Atlanta plays at New York at 2 PM ET. Phoenix visits Dallas at 8 PM ET.

The UEFA Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City is on CBS at 3 PM ET. Man City is a -0.5 goal line favorite with a total of 2.25.
