The Monday sports card features action in the NBA and MLB. 

The National Basketball Association playoffs continue with the fifth game of the NBA Finals, with the Denver Nuggets hosting the Miami Heat on ABC at 8:30 PM ET. The Nuggets took a 3-1 lead in the series with their 108-95 win against the Heat as a 3-point road favorite on Friday. Denver is a 9-point favorite, with the total set at 208.5 (all odds from DraftKings).

The Monday card in Major League Baseball has eight games on its schedule. The Atlanta Braves travel to Detroit to play the Tigers at 6:40 PM ET. The Braves were on a seven-game winning streak before a 6-2 loss at home to Washington on Sunday. The Tigers have lost nine games in a row after their 7-5 loss at home to Arizona. Charlie Morton takes the mound for the Braves to pitch against a starting pitcher yet to be named for Detroit. 

The Boston Red Sox play at home against the Colorado Rockies at 7:10 PM ET. The Red Sox won for the second time in their last three games with a 3-2 win in New York against the Yankees for Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN. The Rockies ended a six-game losing streak with a 5-4 win at home against San Diego yesterday. Boston sends out James Paxton to pitch against Colorado’s Connor Seabold. The Red Sox are a -250 money-line favorite with an over/under of 9.5. 

The San Francisco Giants are in St. Louis to play the Cardinals at 7:45 PM ET. The Giants won for the fourth time in their last six games in a 13-3 victory against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. The Cardinals lost for the second time in a row with a 4-3 loss to Cincinnati yesterday. Logan Webb gets the ball for San Francisco to duel against Matthew Liberatore for the Cardinals. The Giants are a -130 money-line road favorite with a total of 8. 

The Texas Rangers are at home against the Los Angeles Angels at 8:05 PM ET. The Rangers lost for the third time in their last four games with a 7-3 loss in Tampa Bay to the Rays. The Angels won for the sixth time in their last seven games with a 9-4 win against Seattle. Texas taps Dane Dunning to pitch against Los Angeles’ Tyler Anderson. The Rangers is a -155 money-line favorite with an over/under of 9.5. 

The Kansas City Royals host the Cincinnati Reds at 8:10 PM ET. The Royals lost for the sixth straight time on Sunday in an 11-3 loss at Baltimore. The Reds won their fifth game in their last seven games with their victory against the Cardinals. Zack Greinke gets the start for Kansas City to battle against Luke Weaver for Cincinnati. The Royals are a -120 money-line favorite with a total of 9. 

Three games complete the MLB card at 9:40 PM ET. The Tampa Bay Rays visit Oakland to play the A’s. The Rays won for the eighth time in their last nine games with their win against the Rangers yesterday. The A’s are on a five-game winning streak after an 8-6 victory in Milwaukee against the Brewers on Sunday. Tampa Bay turns to Zach Eflin to pitch against Oakland’s James Kaprielian. The Rays are a -250 money-line road favorite with an over/under of 8.5.

The Arizona Diamondbacks play at home against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Diamondbacks are on a five-game winning streak after beating the Tigers on Sunday. The Phillies won for the seventh time in their last eight games with their 7-3 victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers yesterday. Tommy Henry takes the hill for Arizona to duel against Matt Strahm for Philadelphia. The Diamondbacks is a -115 money-line favorite with a total of 10.

Seattle is at home against Miami. The Mariners lost for the third time in their last four games with their loss to the Angels yesterday. The Marlis won for the eighth time in their last nine games with a 6-5 win on the road against the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. Seattle sends out Bryce Miller to face Miami’s Jesus Luzardo. Seattle is a -135 money-line favorite with an over/under of 7.5.
