The Yankees had won five of their last seven games before giving up six runs in the bottom go the ninth inning to lose at Houston by an 8-7 score on Sunday. New York has a 46-43 record, which places them in a tie for third place in the American League with Toronto, eight games behind the Red Sox.

The Canadiens responded with four answered goals from Cyle Larin in the 16th minute, Jonathan Osorio four minutes later, Stephen Estaquio six minutes later, and then Theo Corbeanu in the 89th minute of the second half. Les Grenadiers lost to the USMNT, 1-0, on Sunday. Canada is a -1.5 goal-line favorite with an over/under of 2.75.
