Baylor vs BYU Prediction

The current betting odds have Baylor listed as a 3 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Baylor looked really good against a bad FCS team in their last game but this is still the Big 12 title champion from last season and they are hoping to build off of that very successful season they had. They play in the Big 12 while BYU plays in the Independents Conference and this makes a big difference since Baylor is consistently seeing better competition and playing against tougher teams than BYU. BYU kept a lot of their key pieces from last year but their season started to fall apart near the end as the injuries piled up and their quality of play decreased against better opponents. They are at home here but getting a very big test with Baylor coming into town and Baylor not only has a great offense that will score on them, but they also have a great defense that will give BYU trouble moving the ball. BYU can score a lot of points too as they did last week on USF but their offense is not as good as the Big 12 champs here and the defense is just way better on Baylor's side too. This is a game that Baylor can win on the road here so getting the points for this team is like a gift. The best way to place a bet here is on Baylor to cover the spread in this game.
