Ravens vs Jets Prediction

The current betting odds have the Ravens listed as a 7 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Ravens missed out on the playoffs last season but near the end of the year they were dealing with a lot of covid-19 issues, including to starting QB lamar Jackson, and they did not have much of a team to start every week as a lot of their key players were missing which led to their poor performance down the stretch. The Jets had a very bad season last year as their rookie QB Zach Wilson looked lost out on the field. He started to play a lot better near the end of the season but he should be a lot better this year with the improvements he has made in the offseason. They still do not have a great team though and they will need another year of playing together to really improve. The Ravens are already a playoff ready team with the talent they have on both sides of the ball and they will be hungry to get off to a hot start considering what happened to them down the stretch last season. Lamar Jackson is also working on a contract extension from the Ravens so he will be playing with a chip on his shoulder as he proves to them why he deserves that extension. The best way to place a bet here is on the Ravens to cover the spread in this game.
