Orioles vs Phillies Prediction

The current betting odds have the Phillies listed as a slight favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Phillies haven't been great since coming out of the All-Star break but they are back at home in this series and have a chance to get a much needed bounce back win with this better pitching matchup. The Phillies are going with Sanchez in this game and he has been really good in his starts this season, not giving up many runs lately. The Orioles do have a good offense but so do the Phillies and they should be able to match what the Orioles do here. The Phillies have been a better home team all year anyway and the Orioles are going with Kremer on the mound who hasn't been great this season. Kremer gave up a lot of runs in his last start and has been doing so in a lot of his starts lately. The Phillies offense hasn't been putting up a ton of runs in their games lately but they still have a really good offense and with the way Kremer has been pitching lately along with the Orioles bullpen, this could be the spark the Phillies offense needs to go on a big run again and get hot. The Phillies have the better pitching matchup here and will have an easier time trying to put runs up in this game at home. The best way to place a bet here is on the Phillies to win this game.

Orioles Phillies Prediction:  Our MLB Pick for Monday, July 24, 2023 (6:40 pm ET start time) is Phillies 5 Orioles 2.
