Orioles vs Brewers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Orioles listed as a slight underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Brewers got off to a hot start this season but they were just overtaken by the Pirates for the lead of the NL Central and now they are starting to regress as they slip down the standings. The Orioles also got off to a really hot start themselves this season but this was a team last year that was building up to a much improved season this year and so far they have been carrying out the improvements that started last season. The Orioles have one of the best records in the entire MLB right now and they also have a really good offense in the top half of the league. The Brewers haven't been nearly as good as the Orioles have been on offense this season and they have also been dealing with issues on their pitching staff. Burnes is starting for the Brewers here but he hasn't been good at all this season, giving up a ton of runs in his starts and he went from being this teams ace to being one of their worst starters this season. He clearly hasn't been right all season and with whatever is going on with him this year, the Orioles are going to take advantage of his struggles and put up a ton of runs in this game with how good their offense has been. Kremer has also been a good and reliable starter for them this season so he will keep them in this game against this cold Brewers offense. The best way to place a bet here is on the Orioles to win this game.

Orioles Brewers Prediction:  Our MLB Pick for Wednesday, June 7, 2023 (7:40 pm ET start time) is Orioles 6 Brewers 4.

Notable Quotes

“What a cool moment for Josh Lester. Somebody that’s never been on a top-prospect list. His story is a great one. Grew up in a baseball family, was grinding at Triple-A, he gets a start and a big hit for us. One we haven’t been getting, honestly.” - Brandon Hyde after his team’s win against the Giants in their game on Sunday.

“I made two mistakes on the same pitch. I was trying to throw my four-seamer up and away to the righty and they both stayed down in the zone. Obviously, when you make a mistake at this level, they make you pay for it.” - Julio Teheran after their loss against the Reds in their game on Monday.
