Falcons vs Eagles Prediction

The current betting odds have the Eagles listed as a 6.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Eagles won their season opener in Brazil and they looked good in their 34-29 win over the Packers. Now they are playing their home opener and they did have to travel back from Brazil which isn't a great trip to make, but they also played that game on Friday and with this one being on Monday, they have had some extra time to rest. Meanwhile, the Falcons didn't look good in their season opener with their 18-10 loss at home to the Steelers. They went up against a good Steelers defense that gave them trouble all day, but they also lost to an offense that didn't score a single touchdown in the game. The Falcons lost at home by just giving up field goals and now they are going to be in a very hostile environment in Philadelphia for their 1st road game of the season, and it is against a much stronger offense too. The Falcons are still breaking in their new starting QB Kirk Cousins, but he didn't look great in week 1 and looks like he still needs time to adapt to this new system. The Eagles were rolling on offense in their season opener and they can easily make this game get away from the Falcons here at home. The best way to place a bet here is on the Eagles to cover the spread in this game.

Falcons Eagles Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Monday, September 16, 2024 (8:15 pm ET start time) is Eagles 27 Falcons 17.
