New York Giants:  lost on the road on Sep. 16 against the Washington Football Team 30-29.

They lost their season opener at home against the Philadelphia Eagles and then followed them up with a loss on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both of their losses were by more than 20 points but they looked a lot better in their last game than they did in their first. Matt Ryan struggled a lot in the second half but he ended up completing 35/46 passes for 300 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. They had no run game in that one as Mike Davis led the team with 38 rushing yards on 9 carries. Kyle Pitts led the receivers with 73 yards on 5 receptions while Calvin Ridley had 63 yards and 1 TD on 7 receptions. Erik Harris led the defense with 5 solo tackles in that game. Deion Jones, Dante Fowler Jr. and Marlon Davidson all recorded 1 sack each in that game and no one on the defense had an interception. They have scored 31 points in their first 2 games and they have allowed their opponents to score 80 points against them. Both teams are coming off of games where their offenses looked good and were able to score points while their mistakes usually cost them some points. This one could be a game that goes back and forth as both look to get their first win and since the point total is so low here, the over is  the best bet to make.

They looked good on offense last week and that outcome would have looked much different if he did not throw those interceptions. Look for him to be better with his passes in this game as he tries to lead his team to their first win.

 

New York Giants: Daniel Jones is one player to watch here. He is leading his team in both passing and offense and is trying to do it all on this offense. He needs to trust his surrounding players more instead of trying to do everything himself so look for him to play smarter here and hand the ball off more to Barkley to try and get a good run game going.
