Cardinals vs Texans Prediction

The current betting odds have the Texans listed as a 10 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Texans have looked really good in their games this season with their 8-5 record overall which has them right near the top of the AFC South. They have looked good on their home field too with their 4-2 home record this season. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have looked terrible in their games this season with their 3-10 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC West with one of the worst records in the entire NFL. They have been a bad road team too with their 2-4 road record this year. Kyler Murray has been out for weeks now, but this entire team has been a disaster with the number of injuries they have. They are missing key players on offense and that has been a big issue for them lately. They are off a 45-17 loss to the Rams in their last one and they have been getting blown out in a ton of their games lately, their defense giving up a ton of points too. The Texans are off a 20-10 win over the Chiefs in their last one and that road win is going to give them a ton of momentum. They had a terrible start to the season, but they have turned things around with one of the best defenses in the NFL, and they look like a scary team to play now. The Cardinals have so many injuries on offense that they aren't going to be able to do much on this Texans defense, and the Texans will be able to pull away throughout this game with how bad that Cardinals defense has looked lately. The best way to place a bet here is on the Texans to cover the spread in this game.

Cardinals Texans Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 14, 2025 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Texans 24 Cardinals 10.

Notable Quotes

“Give credit to LA. They were better than us in every facet of the game — coaching, playing, offense, defense, special teams. That was very humbling. At one point, it's 10-10, and then you look up and you're down a lot of points quick.” - Jonathan Gannon after his team’s loss against the LA Rams in their last game.

“It was our next game. We needed to come out and execute. Play good football. And we did.” - DeMeco Ryans after his team’s win against the Chiefs in their last game.
