Utah State vs Memphis Prediction

The current betting odds have Utah State listed as a 7.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Utah State finished with a 6-6 record just making it into this game but they finished their regular season with a terrible loss to Boise State and they are going to be looking to get the taste out of their mouths here. This will be a much easier game for them on a neutral site instead of being on the road, and they are playing a much worse defense too so it will be easier for them to move the ball here and put up points in this game. Memphis also finished their season with a loss on the road to SMU and they also finished with a 6-6 record just winning enough games to become Bowl eligible. Memphis didn't have a great year though and even in a lot of their wins, they rarely blew out other FBS opponents by a lot of points. They have a great offense that can score a lot but they have a terrible defense that gives up a lot of points in their games and that will be the reason why Utah State will be able to hang around in this game even if they fall behind by a lot. The best way to place a bet here is to take the points with Utah State to cover the spread in this game.
