An American League matchup between the 3rd and 4th place AL West teams.  The Al West is not a tough conference. Every team except for the division leading Houston Astros have a losing record.  These two teams are so bad in fact that they both have worse records than the Texas Rangers.  Let that sink in.  The Texas Rangers are in second place in the AL West while still being 2 games below .500.  No wonder the Houston Astros spent so many years cheating… They get easy playoff berths based on a good record off of bad teams…. They needed anything to give them an advantage over real teams once they got there.  The Seattle Mariners are not relevant… The Los Angeles Angels are not relevant.  The numbers however, tell us this should be an easy Great Betting Opportunity.

The Seattle Mariners have won 5 of their last 10 games.  They are happily on a 3-game winning streak thanks to having had the pleasure of playing the Oakland Athletics.  They went 3-0 against the A’s, 1-4 against THESE Los Angeles Angels, and 1-1 against the Minnesota Twins.  These poor Mariners spent most of the last two weeks getting shellacked by the Angels and now have to face them again so soon.

The Los Angeles Angels have won 5 of their last 10 games.  They went an unforgiving 1-2 against the Kansas City Royals, 4-1 against THESE Seattle Mariners, and 0-2 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.  The Angels are bad this season, but have the unique fortune of playing in a garbage division.  They will get easy wins simply from playing trash.
