Colorado State vs Nevada Prediction

The current betting odds have Nevada listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Nevada has not been good this year but they have shown signs of life in their games as they do have a win and have played in some closer games. CSU is still a winless team though and they have definitely been playing like one. They just lost their last game in an embarrassing fashion at home to Sacramento State from the FCS. They didn't just lose that game though, they lost badly in a 41-10 rout and even lost their starting QB to injury in the game. He might be back for this game but whether he plays or not doesn't really matter as this offense hasn't been able to do much either way. Nevada doesn't score a lot of points in their games but they will move the ball and score points here while CSU continues to struggle on offense and defense. The best way to place a bet here is on Nevada to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

"He’s done a really good job in all those drills. I think it will continue to help prepare him to be a player. Any time you get a chance to play you learn valuable lessons that you need to learn from and grow from." - Jay Norvell on Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi after coming into their last game against Sacramento State.

"Later in the week and over the weekend, we're going to hit Northern Nevada. We'll get out to all the high schools here. Most of the staff will stay close and go to all the area games this weekend and hit all the high schools before those games. Even the schools that aren't playing this weekend, we'll get out to those schools. It's very important to us to take care of this area first and then work outward. This is our first chance to really get out on the road this fall. So we're going to hit Northern Nevada, Northern California, the Lake Tahoe area really hard here over the weekend. And then we'll get right back into game planning." - Ken Wilson on his recruiting plans for the school.
