Analysis
Chairman on Tampa Bay Both of these teams are somewhat of an embarrassment. Or at least each team should be. The passing game of Tom Brady is nothing to write home about comparable to the past few years. Tampa Bay's running game is very anemic, averaging just 73.0 yards per game. Let’s look at it from the Bucs running back perspective with Leonard Fournette being out. That has had a duel affect. Brady is hindered in his passing game and no other back is has picked up the slack. Leonard Fournette will be back at running back tonight. Tom Brady has 3051 yards passing with 14 touchdowns and only two interceptions. Leonard Fournette has rushed for a team-best 462 yards with three touchdowns. Mike Evans has 51 receptions for 702 yards and three touchdowns. Tampa Bay has four rushing and 14 passing touchdowns. The New Orleans injury list is extensive with the most important including Marshon Lattimore, Michael Thomas, Pete Werner and Josh Andrews out or questionable. New Orleans continues to feel the lack of Michael Thomas on the field as the wideout is once again on injured reserve hurting Andy Dalton. Tampa Bay's defense is their rock star and is allowing a total of 315.2 yards per game which is ninth best. The Buccaneers are allowing 123.2 yards rushing and only 192.0 yards passing per game which is sixth in the NFL. The Buccaneers are allowing only 18.5 points per game which is sixth. The leading tackler for Tampa Bay is Devin White. The linebacker has 89 tackles and also has 5.5 quarterback sacks. New Orleans was defeated by the San Francisco 49ers 13-0 last Sunday and is scoring an average of only 10.0 points per game over the last three games of which two were losses. We’ve look for anything and everything but nothing has indicated to us that their offensive output will be anything different in this game. Go Bucs!!
