They had plenty of chances to score a lot more in both chances and they have one of the most talented and deepest squads in the tournament. Their starters will be rested for this match and after seeing the way the other top countries in the World played in their knockout matches, Brazil will be eager to have a very dominant performance here as the number 1 ranked team in the World. They are going up against a South Korea side that finished 2nd place in their group with 4 points after 1 win, 1 draw, and 1 loss. South Korea scored 4 goals in their last 2 matches but 2 of those goals were scored against a Ghana defense that allowed 7 goals in their 3 group stage matches, and the other 2 goals were scored in a match where Portuagl was sitting 9 of their 11 starters. They are going to have a much tougher time scoring on this talented Brazil defense that has only allowed 1 goal in their 3 matches and that goal was scored against them in the 90th min of their last match which was a match that they were resting their starters in. South Korea will struggle to score goals on Brazil here and they will also struggle to keep Brazil out of their net as Brazil has a very potent attack and South Korea has not been very good on defense in their matches. They were able to hold Uruguay to a scoreless draw with good defense in their 1st match but once they needed to play for a win in their next 2 matches, they allowed 4 goals in their last 2 matches. They allowed 3 of those against a Ghana side that was ranked as one of the weakest teams coming into the tournament and the other goal was allowed against a Portugal bench team. South Korea has a good scrappy team that made it this far and maybe if they were matched up against another team they would have a chance, but they are facing the best team in the tournament here and they will not be able to keep up with the talent that Brazil has.
