- The Houston Astros are 10-6 in Interleague play, and will dominate the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight.
The Astros have won 18 of 24 in September, and are on the brink of locking up the American League. This is the worst possible time for the Snakes to visit Houston.
Houston won the first meeting 10-2 last night, and has now won 27 of 37 behing an offense that has stroked 47 homers in the 37 games. During that run, since Aug. 17, they're scoring nearly five runs per game, and ventured into double digits five times. They've scored six or more runs in 10 games.
I know the Snakes are throwing Zac Gallen, and they might get six good innings out of him. But their bullpen will get tattered by one of the best lineups in baseball.
Besides, the Astros are going with Justin Verlander, which means Arizona's bats will struggle.
