- Colorado salvaged the final game of their four game set with the Padres, taking Thursday's contest 7-3. That snapped a five-game losing streak for the Rockies. The Rockies will start German Marquez today who is 6-9 in his 20 starts with a 5.29 ERA. Arizona has lost five of their six games after Thursday's setback at Cleveland, 4-7. They will send veteran Madison Bumgarner to the hill today. Bumgarner is 6-10 in his 21 starts with a 3.83 ERA. He's been slightly better at home with a 5-3 record and 3.03 ERA. The Rockies haven't done well on the road, going 17-36 over their last 53 away games. That includes teams with losing records as they are just 5-13 in their last 18 on the road vs those clubs. Meanwhile, Arizona has won five of their last six home games. I'll take the D'backs here today.
