- The Boston Red Sox lost their opening game at Kansas City on Thursday, 3-7. That makes them on a two game losing skid as they play game two of four here in KC tonight. The Sox will send Josh Winckowski to the hill today. He's 4-5 in his nine starts with a 5.00 ERA. The Sox haven't been a good bet of late, going 6-15 in their last 21 games and 3-11 in their last 14 road games. The Royals look to put back-to-back wins together for the first time since July 24 and 25th. Veteran Zack Greinke will toe the rubber for the Royals today. Greinke is 3-6 in his 17 starts with a 4.41 ERA. However, he's been great at home with a 3-1 record in eight starts and a 1.65 ERA. I like Greinke on the hill tonight. Take the Royals.
