Chairman’s on Philadelphia (Trades are going on so I’m being careful) The Pirates have not had a good season and they have the second fewest wins in the NL. They recently traded the players that leads them in batting average and the club will likely make some more moves since they are out of the playoff picture. The Phillies are in the playoff picture and look to take advantage of a Pittsburgh team that has scored the fewest runs in baseball. Velasquez was not sharp in his last outing while Crowe was but that will change in this game. Velasquez will pitch decent facing a pretty weak Bucs lineup while Crowe will be hit hard by the Philly lineup. In Game 1 of this NL series the Phillies will get the road W. The line is -135 but if there are more trades; it could increase.
