Analysis
#839 DRAKE (-) over Bradley at 7 PM EST The only thing standing between Drake, a share of the MVC title, and the No. 1 seed in next week's Missouri Valley Conference Tournament are a pair of straight up road wins this weekend at Bradley. The Braves enter this contest with issues right now on a dismal 0-3 SU and ATS run and this is going to be a monumental challenge for head coach Brian Wardle and his boys. Even though the Bulldogs have cashed six of their last eight in this series, it will be last year's conference tournament loss to the Braves that will have head coach Darian DeVries kids focused and ready for this rematch. In the semifinals of the MVC Tournament in 2020, Drake (+2) dropped a 76-66 decision to Bradley. Thankfully, since the start of the 2018 regular season, the Bulldogs have assembled a sensational 67-26 SU and 54-29-1 ATS mark including a money-making 35-7 SU and 31-10-1 ATS if they are priced as a favorite of -11 or less in this run. In addition, when playing with revenge and priced as a favorite or an underdog of +1.5 or less, Drake carries a reliable 17-4 SU and 16-5 ATS record. If the Bulldogs are facing a foe that scoots in off a pointspread loss, this team trend zips to a nearly perfect 11-1 SU and ATS. Clinging to a woeful 2-10 SU and 1-9 ATS mark in its last 12 games, Bradley just isn't playing good basketball right now. To make matters worse, when going into revenge, the Braves have been at their financial worst posting a horrible 130-178-9 ATS record. In this run priced as an underdog, Coach Wardle's troops fall to a miserable 63-93-2 ATS including a disturbing 15-42-1 ATS in their last 58 provided their opponent enters off a pointspread victory. Finally, in its last 12 games priced as an underdog, Bradley holds a woeful 0-12 SU and 2-9-1 ATS tally including a miserable 0-10 SU and 0-9-1 ATS if it is fighting a conference foe. The Bulldogs have won 23 games this season and 16 of them have come by double-digits. With a ton riding on this two-game series, Coach DeVries will make sure his players don't hold anything back. Take Drake. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
