Leroy's Money Talks Invitational

Professional sports handicapper Bryan Leonard is one of 16 invitees to participate in the 2006 Leroy's Money Talks Football Invitational. Leonard is in his 22nd season as a professional handicapper and last season made it to the Finals of the same contest, finishing second, taking home $10,000.
The entry fee in 2005 was $2,500 and this season is $5,000. It is the highest entry fee of any football contest in Las Vegas. He will be competing against such pro cappers as Marc Lawrence, Doc, and Big Al McMordie.
The program begins Thursday, September 7, from 8-9 PM pacific from Silverton Casino in Las Vegas. It can be heard live via the Internet from AmericanWagering.com. The first show will take place right after the first NFL game of the season as the Dolphins battle the Steelers. Subsequent shows will be broadcast each Friday night from 8-9 PM pacific. Thursday's first broadcast will pit Leonard against Big Al McMordie, winner of the 2004 Stardust Invitational handicapping contest.
It's a single elimination tourney, with handicappers presenting seven selections on upcoming college and pro games. The plays will be ranked 1-through-7 and the handicapper with the most profit from the winning selections advances.
