NBA Late Season System
by Tom Stryker - 04/09/2008
With the spotlight dimming on the college ranks, it's time to turn our attention to the NBA where late-season profits are ready to be made.
Handicapping the pros at this time of the year can be a dangerous proposition. Granted those teams that are making a run at the playoffs or battling for post-season position are still attractive. However, those bottom-feeders that have already turned their thoughts to next season can bust your wallet in a hurry.
With the help of my high octane NBA database, I've been able to isolate a couple of late-season technical situations that have been money in the bank. The pro angle I'm about to share with you right here is one of my best. This system is called NBA Late-Season Division Dandy and it packs serious profit potential. Take a look.
It doesn't matter what sport or even the spot on the schedule. Anytime two division teams get together there's always going to be competition. That fact holds true with regard to this technical set. Since the 1990-91 season, game 72 to 82 regular season division hosts are a respectable 104-75-1 ATS provided they are matched up against an opponent that owns a won/loss percentage of .667 or better.
When lined up against one of the NBA's elite, there would be a tendency to shy away from a power team in a division battle especially in the final 10 games of the regular season. That's understandable but not something you want to do. Instead, it is imperative that you concentrate on this home team and side with them in order to win some money.
There are a couple of different parameters that apply to this general situation that really make it pop. With our 104-75-1 ATS system in hand, home teams improve to a jaw-dropping 58-28 ATS provided they enter off a straight up loss. It's easy to erase the taste of defeat especially if you can pick up a division victory in one of your final home games of the regular season. Wondering about back-to-back straight up losses? Yep, this does even better. Division hosts in this role are a mind-boggling 38-14 ATS!
There isn't a lot of fluff to this system. That's why I like it so much. All you have is a division host in one of its last 10 games of the regular season looking to knock off an elite division foe one last time before the season ends!
There is one final tightener that can be added to improve this situation even more. With our 38-14 ATS in play, this system zips to a sweet 32-10 ATS provided our play on host is NOT off a pointspread win.
In the month of April, this angle will pop several times so make sure you review the parameters that apply. This is the perfect way to build your bankroll for the upcoming NBA Playoffs. According to my NBA database, there are few games that could apply. Here are the games and dates:
April 6th, Sacramento at home vs LA Lakers
April 10th, LA Clippers at home vs LA Lakers
April 14th, New York at home vs Boston
April 16th, Cleveland at home vs Detroit
April 16th, Dallas at home vs New Orleans
I'll be back next week with another profitable late-season pro system for your review. Best of luck always men. TS
